Ted began his career in 1977, as an apprentice framer in Southern California. By the mid-1980s, Ted had worked his way up to Site Supervisor for large residential and commercial projects. These early experiences taught Ted the value of hard work and the unique joy of exceeding the customer’s expectations.
In 1987, Ted Tapparo earned his General Contractor’s license and started a small concrete and framing company. The business grew steadily until 4:30am on January 17, 1994. The Northridge Earthquake changed everything in Southern California. Ted spent the next two years on re-construction projects throughout the Los Angeles Area.
Ted Tapparo moved his business to Colorado in 1997. Since that time, Ted has provided concrete, framing, demolition and excavation services throughout the Denver Metro area and Summit County. Through these projects, Ted has earned a strong reputation for his knowledge, expertise and reliability.
Nearly 10 years ago, Ted completed his first crawlspace conversion at a small home in Denver. Since that time, Ted Tapparo has become a specialist in crawlspace conversion. Ted launched Crawlspaces 2 Basements to help homeowners increase their living space and improve the value of their homes.
